At Reliant Pediatric Therapy Services, our physical and occupational therapists utilize cutting-edge technologies to help improve our patient’s functional movements. Through Robotic Therapy, we address the issues faced by children with neurological impairments that have been caused by injury or illness. Robotic Therapy is designed to improve body functions and movements of children with such impairments and mobility limitations.
We utilize the following robotic devices as part of our robotic rehabilitation program:
- Lokomat Pro. A robot-assisted gait trainer that provides a physiologic gait pattern. It allows therapists to provide support on an as-needed basis which maximizes patient capabilities.
- Armeo Springs. A robotic-assisted recovery device for the arm and hand. It uses self-initiated movement to encourage patients’ use of existing motor functions. It also provides an objective assessment of the patient’s progress.
